THE ROLE

What You’ll Own

Strategy Collective is seeking an elite Account Strategist to serve as a marketing quarterback and trusted advisor for our private equity-backed healthcare clients. You’ll manage a strictly capped client portfolio, giving you the focused time needed to move beyond order-taking and build a highly compensated, consultative career based on clear revenue milestones.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client relationships as the primary strategic and operational contact, adhering to strict client caps
  • Proactively identify strategic gaps and pitch Statements of Work (SOWs) before the client requests them
  • Understand each client’s business goals, market dynamics, and growth priorities to shape custom marketing strategies
  • Develop and present integrated marketing plans across digital, content, and offline channels with clear KPIs
  • Collaborate with in-house experts in media, creative, web, and analytics for cohesive execution
  • Monitor campaign performance, extract insights, and deliver data-driven recommendations
  • Build trust with physician leaders, COOs, and PE sponsors with clear, confident counsel
  • Guide new initiative launches (new locations, service line expansions, M&A rollouts) from planning through implementation
  • Act as the voice of the client internally to ensure alignment on priorities, tone, and messaging

QUALIFICATIONS

What We're Looking For

Required
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a client-facing agency or consultancy role
  • Experience developing and communicating marketing strategy (not just executing someone else’s)
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and performance metrics
  • Demonstrated ability to own client relationships as a trusted marketing advisor
  • Healthcare experience preferred, especially with multi-site provider groups or PE-backed organizations
  • Confident communicator — able to write, present, and advise with clarity and authority
  • Highly organized, capable of managing multiple client programs simultaneously
  • Proficient in marketing analytics and performance reporting tools
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus
Preferred
  • Healthcare experience, especially with multi-site provider groups or PE-backed organizations
  • Experience with PE-backed or portfolio company environments and reporting to sponsors
  • HubSpot, CallRail, Liine, or Smartsheet platform proficiency
  • MBA or advanced degree
